Spontaneous City is a series of interventions in London’s urban green spaces by artist duo Bruce Gilchrist and Jo Joelson together known as London Fieldworks, a metaphorical interplay between the condition of the animal and the human and their enfolded habitats.The artworks are open to occupation by wildlife and can be read as an allegory of population crash and dwindling biodiversity of birds and insects alongside global concerns about megacities and peri-urbanisation, fluid populations and porous borders.

Usually before doing something we always think about it, whether it is possible for us to do. With all the considerations and limitations, some of us will definitely step back and say "It's impossible to do." But before you decide to go back, look at how these people move forward even though the situation is difficult for us to imagine.
